Key topics: multi-fidelity models · integrated macro–micro modelling · agent-based simulation · large-scale network analysis
2. Simulation and optimisation of complex transportation systems
Development of simulation and intelligent optimisation methods for complex and emerging transportation systems, including vehicle–road–cloud and low-altitude transportation applications.
Key topics: simulation-based optimisation · reinforcement learning · transportation digital twins · vehicle–road–cloud systems · low-altitude transportation
3. Management and control of mixed-autonomy networks
Modelling and optimisation of transportation networks in which human-driven, connected, and automated vehicles interact.
Key topics: mixed-autonomy networks · connected and automated vehicles · intelligent traffic control · parking management and pricing
4. Large-language-model-enabled intelligent decision-making
